Hecho in Detroit grows from our roots in Southwest Detroit, where culture lives in the language, music, storefronts, and families that give our neighborhoods their character. Our work draws from that everyday life, honoring the people whose creativity and persistence continue to shape this city.
Through thoughtful design, we create pieces that connect personal identity with a shared sense of belonging. Something you can wear with pride because it reflects a part of your story, your family, or the place that helped shape you.

As we grow, we want to create opportunities for local artists, share community stories, and bring people together through creative work.
“Descendants of Builders” carries that vision forward. We inherit the work, sacrifices, and imagination of those who came before us. What we do with that inheritance is our contribution, whether we’re raising a family, opening a business, making art, or showing up for our neighbors. We want the next generation to see themselves as part of that continuing story, with something of their own to add.
